Hajar Aswad: A demonstration of refugees from the occupied Golan Heights started near Rahman Mosque, heading towards Thawra Street in Central Damascus on Sunday 12/02/11. Chanting in support ofHoms and Zabadani and the other besieged cities, and saluting the Free Syrian Army.
Zabadani: Due to recent constant bombardment of Zabadani it has become increasingly difficult to establish exact number of victims. It is feared many bodies are hidden amongst the rubble of the destruction.
Protest at Trafalgar Square London, 12/02/12
A Flash mob demo took part in Trafalgar square followed by a Martyrs Gallery. Images of protesters in Homs was projected onto the wall of the Gallery in Trafalgar square. A crowd of approx 70 people took part & some members of the public joined in the chants.Towards the end on projection the sound of gunfire rang out & protesters dropped to the floor in order to highlight the crisis the protesters in Syria face. A message was recorded from London for the people in Syria.
A3 sized photographs of various cities affected by the ongoing slaughter taking place in Syria were displayed. Approx 60 Martyrs & their accounts were also displayed & lite by candle light.Many members of the public stopped view the gallery & to ask questions & debate the crisis in Syria.
There was minimum police pressence, there were no arrests & no injuries to report.
